As an educator, health and wellbeing coach, exercise physiologist, yoga, meditation and breath work instructor, I incorporate all aspects of my training and experience to create a tailored approach in assisting individuals and groups with creating coherence between mind, body and spirit, thus building resilience, and elevating performance levels. I have worked with individuals and groups from diverse backgrounds across the spectrums of health, wellness, and performance levels; including those persons with chronic illnesses and disabilities, military veterans and service members, business owners and executives, caregivers and parents of children with disabilities, as well as over-stressed coworkers seeking better team cohesiveness. My years of study and experience have taught me the most successful approach for lasting change is to meet people where they are, while holding the belief that everyone has the capacity for personal growth and transformation, if given the right tools to succeed.
I have more than 15 years of experience in developing, coordinating, and implementing programming, long and short-term, both in-person and virtually, and for special events, presentations, educational seminars, experiential workshops, ranging from small groups to 100+ participants, as well as working one-on-one with individuals. Some of my additional experience includes teaching college courses related to health, stress management, and movement/fitness, consulting on health and wellness program development, and advocating for public health policy changes.
My personal interest in health and wellbeing stems from seeking improvements in my own life, while dealing with a chronic illness. I recognized the need for intentional self-care and integrative modalities to transform into a better version of myself, and obtain higher performance and output levels. I passionately share this with and support anyone interested in also making lasting transformations and reaching the next level in their health and wellbeing.
As an Exercise Physiologist by training, martial arts instructor, yoga teacher, and veteran of the United States Marine Corps, I have worked with a diverse population of individuals of all fitness levels and health conditions including those with autoimmune diseases, obesity, a variety of other health issues and injury statuses, trauma survivors, as well as competitive athletes. I have extensive experience supporting military veterans transitioning to the civilian world.
I bring a well-rounded background of applying breathwork and yoga to improving sports performance of combat-athletes, providing relaxation and team building to overstressed coworkers, as well as experiencing personally the amazing physical benefits and profound spiritual growth and healing by practicing these methods. My goal is to meet each person where they are to ensure their experience is positive, while providing the tools needed to continue with their own personal growth.
I look forward to partnering with and guiding anyone interested in beginning their journey or diving deeper into yoga, meditation, breathing and exercise, whether it is through private one-on-one coaching or in a group setting.
